Toronto's own young latin-jazz trumpet icon Nick "The Brownman" Ali (leader of the award-winning latin outfit CRUZAO) has been honoured by being asked to represent Canada at the Havana Jazz Festival in December (11-15)!  Proceeds from this Nov 23rd performance of his hard-hitting salsa unit MARRÓN MATIZADO will go towards his travel expenses.  So come on down - bring your dancing shoes and celebrate our very own Brownman's invitation to this prestigious jazz festival!

10-piece All-star salsa unit MARRÓN MATIZADO tackles modern progressive salsa in a way that this country has never seen before.  Bringing elements of funk, jazz, and hip-hop to the table the unit creates a  high-energy whirlwind of modern salsa.  Called "Toronto's Salsa "dream-team"" by Picante Latin Xpress magazine.
