Microphone requirements: 
Brown requires 3 mics (or 4 if he has his percussion rig)
1) vocal mic
2) mic for acoustic horn (soundman's discretion)
3) mic for the electric trumpet rig.  This mic should be setup normally, and will be disconnected and re-patched through Brown's signal processing rig.  He prefers an SM58 or equivalent for this mic.
4) if the percussion rig is used, 1 overhead mic is usually all that's needed.  On large stages, all cowbells should be additionally miced.

Backline requirements: 
one D.I. (the electric rig terminates in a D.I.)

Backline requirements:
Brad would be happy on any of the following bass amp combinations:

Mark Bass Little Mark III (or similar) with 2x10 or 2x12 cab
- or- 
Gallien-Krueger 700RB-II (or similar) with 2x10 or 2x12 cab
- or- 
Ampeg SVT-3PRO with 2x10 or 2x12 cab
- or- 
(worst case) any Yorkville or Peavey amp that is at least 100 watts in power (not peak power)

Microphone requirements:
Drum micing is left to the soundman's discretion
